Behind every peptide is a person.

How monitoring changes what happens next, and real reported cases where illegal peptides caused harm.

Stories

The difference monitoring makes.

Most peptide problems build quietly, between appointments, until they cannot be ignored. Tap each story to see how it could have gone.

These are illustrative stories based on known peptide risks. Names and details are fictional and photos show models.

Real cases

When illegal peptides go wrong.

These are real, reported events. Unlicensed and fake peptides are not a distant problem. They are reaching people's homes, gyms and wellness events right now.

Two women in critical care after peptide drips at a longevity festival

Two women, aged 38 and 51, were rushed to hospital after receiving peptide injections at a wellness festival booth. Their tongues swelled, they struggled to breathe and their heart rates soared. One needed a breathing tube. Both have since recovered. The peptides on the clinic's price list were not approved medicines in the US.

A peptide check before treatment would have shown that none of the listed peptides were approved. Baseline history and monitoring are built to spot allergic reactions early.

Fake weight loss pens that may have contained insulin

People who used counterfeit Ozempic pens bought outside pharmacies were taken to hospital with dangerously low blood sugar, seizures and coma. Regulators believed some pens contained insulin instead of semaglutide. The UK regulator had already seized hundreds of suspected fake pens that year.

Certified supply and a batch check confirm what is really in the pen. Glucose monitoring flags a dangerous low straight away.

Years of illegal tanning peptides, then moles that had to be removed

A young man used melanotan II injections and then nasal sprays bought through social media. He was hospitalised with severe sickness and dehydration, and later had several changing moles removed. Melanotan products are illegal to sell in the UK, US and Australia, and are often made in underground labs.

Peptide Monitoring tracks skin and mole photos for tanning peptides, and flags any new or changing mole for a doctor to see quickly.

An illegal factory filling weight loss pens in a warehouse

The UK medicines regulator raided a warehouse and found tens of thousands of empty injector pens, raw ingredients and more than 2,000 finished retatrutide and tirzepatide pens ready to ship. Retatrutide is not approved anywhere in the world. Every one of those pens was heading to a real person.

Our factory audits and Certificate of Authenticity exist so you never have to wonder where your peptide was made.
